Un jeune cadre est envoyé par sa société en poste dans un pays lointain. Le temps de régler un certain nombre de problèmes matériels et d’être certain de rester là-bas, il part seul, sans sa femme.

 

 

 

 

 

Au bout de quelques mois sa situation semble stable, il a trouvé une maison, et il fait venir son épouse.

 

 

 

 

 

Le lendemain de son arrivée, le mari se lève tôt pour aller au bureau et part discrètement en la laissant dormir.

 

 

 

 

 

Une demi-heure plus tard la domestique la secoue en disant :

 

– Allons, mademoiselle, réveillez-vous ! Il faut vous habiller et rentrer chez vous…
