Kodi 15.0 Features
Across platforms, Kodi itself has gained quite a lot of features.
Some notable examples include:
• A new chapter selector window – Allows you to visually browse and select chapters from mkvs and other containers that support chapters.
• Adaptive seeking (aka Skip Steps) – The more times you press a button to seek in a period of time, the larger the jump forward or backward will be.
• Audio and Subtitle Lists – For content that includes multiple audio and subtitle choices, you can select from a full list of choices, rather than manually searching through a spinner.
• Language Add-ons and Expanded International Preferences – Now language translations aren’t dependent upon release, but get regularly updated to all users as the add-ons themselves update. Additionally, you now have total control over date, time, temperature and more displayed formats.
• Improved Add-on Manager – The add-on manager has now been reworked to help make finding the add-ons you are looking for easier.
Additional Improvements and Changes:
• ffmpeg 2.6.3 update
• Improved Closed Captioning support in Live TV
• Fixed music video queuing
• Allow scanning of new sources and marking as watched during other library operations such as “update library”
• Windows DXVA HEVC hardware decoding support if driver and hardware support exist

Changes from 14.2 to 15.0 include:
• Minimal 10.7 Lion 64-bit required on Mac OSX
• Minimal iOS 5.1 required and ATV2 support discontinued
• Minimum Android 4.2 Jelly Bean MR1 required on Android
• Ubuntu 12.04 support dropped in PPA
• On Android the system now handles the volume instead of Kodi
• Removed the need for root/SU on Android. Some hardware/firmware might not like that. Please contact your hardware supplier
• Removal of Tuxbox support. Users of Enigma2 boxes can use the VUPlus PVR add-on
• Removal of AFP filesystem support
• Remove legacy code pre-Frodo 11.0
• Vast amount of possible memory leaks, segfaults, crashes and minor issues have been fixed
• General improvements regarding code stability and performance in all areas
• General code clean-up in all areas to simplify adding future features

Kodi Must Have Repositories
Below is an updated list of FTP repo sites for all of the Addons out there.You install them by going into Kodi/XBMC or Isengard.
- Scroll to the right and below the word “SYSTEM”,
- Select FILE MANAGER.
- Select Add Source
- Here, where it says enter the paths or browse for the Media locations is where would type the below repos one by one.
(Make sure to name it something related to what the repo is).
- Once you saved them, go back to system.
This time actually click on the word system,
- Select “Addons”
- Select: Install from zip file and start going through the FTP Repos that you just loaded.

How to Setup LiveTV PVR IPTV Simple Client XBMC/Kodi
The LiveTV setting on XBMC is a great way of using your XBMC setup as if if it were a TV. The method we are going to use involves PVR IPTV Simple Client. With this we can configure it to use an m3u playlist for all the channels. Some of the channels are not perfect but there are many very watchable channels.

1) Open XBMC
2)Select System > Settings
3)Select Add-ons
4)Select Disabled Add-ons
5)Select PVR IPTV Simple Client
6)Select Enable
7)Select Configure
8) Select M3U Play List URL
9) Paste/Type the m3u link, for example 3d m3u list -CODE: SELECT ALLhttps://sites.google.com/site/iptvblogspot/3d.m3u
10)Select Done - OK
11)Uncheck (TURN OFF) Cache m3u at local storage
12)Select EPG Settings & XMLTV URL
Paste/Type the link - https://sites.google.com/site/iptvblogspot/guide.xml
13)Select OK. It is important you select OK otherwise the changes you have added won't save.
14) Go back to your home screen - Select System > Settings
15) Select Live TV
16) Select Enabled
17)Restart XBMC
The Live TV link will now be available in your home screen menu. Do not select it straight away - channels need to be indexed. Just give it a minute to do this and then start LiveTV otherwise you will only see a small portion of these in your LiveTV channel list. Watch the top of your screen where you will have a visual indicator showing you the channles/EPG loading. As I say, if you don't wait you won't see all the channels.
18)Select Live TV or anything from the sub menu to see the channels
You need to reboot XBMC. And hopefully the channels will start indexing straight away.

XBMC4XBOX 3.5.1 For Original XBOX Is out!
Finally a stable version of XBMC for the original console is out! You can now update your old xbox and install a fully functional xbmc.
Xbmc is now known as Kodi and it comes from two different groups.
Although, xbmc originated on the xbox by the creators of kodi and they no longer upkeep that project.
