As the title, how to USB flash the Mut@nt HD2400.

 

 

 

1) Download your chosen image and extract the hd2400 folder.

 

2) Connect your USB stick to PC and format FAT32.

 

3) Copy the hd2400 folder to root of your USB stick.

 

4) Power off your HD2400.

 

5) Unplug your USB stick from PC and connect to a USB port on your HD2400.

 

6) Power on.

 

7) When you see the message on the OLED saying 'Image Found', press UP arrow and wait for the HD2400 to flash.

 

8) Once complete the HD2400 will automatically reboot.

 

Do not power off whilst flashing.

Comme dans le titre, comment flasher par USB le Mut@nt HD2400.

 

1) Télécharger votre image choisie et extraire le dossier HD2400.

 

2) Brancher votre clé USB au PC et la formatez FAT32.

 

3) Copier le dossier HD2400 à la racine de votre clé USB.

 

4) Éteigner votre HD2400.

 

5) Débrancher votre clé USB du PC et se connecter à un port USB du HD2400.

 

6) Mise sous tension.

 

7) Quand vous voyez le message sur l'écran OLED disant 'image trouvée », appuyez sur la flèche HAUT et attendre le flash du HD2400 .

 

8) Une fois terminé, le HD2400 va redémarrer automatiquement.

 

Ne pas éteindre pendant le flashage du démo.

Voici un tuto en anglais pour flasher le Mutant HD2400

 

How to Flash a

 

What you need before we start: -

 

1. A USB stick formatted to FAT32. (Preferably

 

compatibility issues while flashing the image).

 

2. Image of your choice.

 

3. Compression software such as 7zip.

 

4. HP Format tool (not essential but recommended)

 

5. Teracopy (not essential but recommended)

 

For this tutorial we will be using Hades OpenViX, which can be downloaded from

 

1. Format a USB stick to FAT32.

 

2. Download the image of your choice and extract it to your desktop.

 

3. Open the folder you extracted to your desktop,

 

another folder named hd2400, this is the

 

stick.

 

Flashing the Receiver.

 

1) Power off the receiver

 

2) Ensure no other USB devices are plugged into the receiver

 

3) Insert the USB stick containing the image files in

 

possible.

 

4) Power the receiver on.

 

5) When prompted via the receivers display

 

panel of the receiver to start the flashing

 

6) If successful the receiver will reboot it self after the flashing process has completed.

 

7) Remove USB stick that contains the images files.

 

The flashing process should take approximately two to four minutes to complete, while the re

 

it is important that you DO NOT power the receiver down for any reason as this can cause serious and or permanent

 

damage.

 

If the receiver bypasses the flash files on the USB stick and boots into the existing image instead you may need

 

check that the file structure is correct on the USB stick or try formatting the USB stick using the above mention HP

 

Format tool or try and alternative USB stick.

Image flashen:

 

- Image Downloaden und entpacken

 

- den Ordner "hd2400" ins Rootverzeichnis eines USB-Mediums (Fat32) kopieren

 

- USB-Medium nicht einfach vom PC trennen sondern über die Systray "sicher entfernen"

 

- Receiver am Netzschalter (hinten) ausschalten

 

- USB-Medium in einen freien USB-Port einstecken (andere USB-Medien bitte entfernen)

 

- Receiver am Netzschalter (immer noch hinten ) wieder einschalten

 

- sobald die Meldung am Display "Found Image. Flash?" im Display erscheint die Page UP (mittlere der fünf an der Frontpanel) oder Standby Taste drücken

 

- Image wird geflasht

 

Bootloader flashen:

 

- Bootloader Downloaden und entpacken

 

- den Ordner "hd2400" ins Rootverzeichnis eines USB-Mediums (Fat32) kopieren

 

- USB-Medium nicht einfach vom PC trennen sondern über die Systray "sicher entfernen"

 

- Receiver am Netzschalter (hinten) ausschalten

 

- USB-Medium in einen freien USB-Port einstecken (andere USB-Medien bitte entfernen)

 

- Receiver am Netzschalter (immer noch hinten ) wieder einschalten

 

- sobald die Meldung am Display "Found Image. Flash?" im Display erscheint die Page Down Taste (zweite von links am Frontpanel) drücken.

 

- Bootloader wird geflasht

 

Splash.bin flashen:

 

- aus dem entpackten Imageordner die Dateien rootfs.bin und kernel.bin löschen

 

- den Ordner "hd2400" ins Rootverzeichnis eines USB-Mediums (Fat32) kopieren

 

- USB-Medium nicht einfach vom PC trennen sondern über die Systray "sicher entfernen"

 

- Receiver am Netzschalter (hinten) ausschalten

 

- USB-Medium in einen freien USB-Port einstecken (andere USB-Medien bitte entfernen)

 

- Receiver am Netzschalter (immer noch hinten ) wieder einschalten

 

- sobald die Meldung am Display "Found Image. Flash?" im Display erscheint die Page Down Taste (zweite von links am Frontpanel) drücken.

 

- splash.bin wird geflasht

 

Sollte dies nach ca 5 - 10 Minuten (beim Bootloader und der splash.bin natürlich um einige Zeit schneller) nicht zu einem Reboot des Receivers und anschliessendem Startassistenten führen ist etwas schief gelaufen,

 

in dem Fall bitte als erstes ein anderes USB-Medium zum Flashen benutzen und von vorne beginnen
